Best Friends

Today’s photo captures a special bond between an old and young dog, who found exactly what they needed in each other. Rocky extended Charlie’s life by keeping him active and giving him a new purpose. Charlie provided a sense of security for Rocky who came here five days after having his leg amputated, and just a few weeks after his previous owners abandoned him.

Because of their significant age difference, their time on this path together will be brief, but they have already made a meaningful difference in one another’s lives and perhaps understand the fleeting nature of their relationship. This leg of the journey has been enhanced for both of them. ❤️
