Angler’s Oasis

I was craving the chilled out vibe of Pointe Mouillee today and decided to spend a little time there with my camera. I was thrilled to catch this guy as he paddled out to do some fishing as I love having someone in the scene enjoying what the place has to offer.

I captured another great shot here back in March, when the palette was more subdued, a stark contrast to today’s bright blues and greens. It’s no surprise that both shots are of fishermen, as that seems to be what this spot is all about. I’m always the only one here without a fishing rod.
