Mighty Moose
A week ago, Moose underwent his fourth surgery since July. Just as it happened with his right leg, he developed an infection in response to the implanted brace in his left leg, so the brace had to be removed. It has been a long seven months, and Moose has been a trooper the entire time, his bouncy demeanor never changing from surgery to surgery, from setback to setback.
I’m so eager to get him back to his normal activities, playing with the other dogs and taking long walks on our favorite trails. He has earned it, along with his nickname, the mighty Moose.
