Summer Fawn

I was photographing some wildflowers when I heard loud rustling coming from the nearby brush. This little fawn tumbled out into the grass with the sun directly behind it. I turned with my camera and starting shooting. I knew shooting into the harsh light wasn’t ideal, but I also knew that fawn wasn’t going to be there very long. Mama Deer showed up in a matter of seconds and the fawn turned and ran into the woods with her. Sometimes you gotta move fast!
